COO Mission:  Educate, Build Community, Mobilize and Engage. 

Meeting several times each year members discuss ways to address the goal of making the American public more knowledgeable on international issues and the UN and to develop the program for the annual UN Day celebration held in October.  It develops the "Make a Difference Project" to amplify the theme of UN Day Dinner, providing the opportunity for attendees and the public to have a tangible local or international impact. Examples of projects include: providing solar cookers for refugee camps, providing microloans to women entrepreneurs in developing countries, and the 2019 project to combat climate change with a local tree planting initiative in collaboration with ClearWater Conservancy.
