The UN at 75.  Children's faces.

To celebrate its 75th anniversary, the UN is reaching out to citizens around the globe. Secretary General Guterres wants to hear from us. What are our priorities, how can we best address them, and what role does the UN play in tackling the many issues before us.


So, what do you think are the most critical issues facing our world? Climate change? International migration? Armed conflict? Rising inequality? How can we begin to resolve the issues that mean the most to you?

Our UN Day Dinner theme centered on climate change, with Dr. Tom Richards, Professor of Agricultural and Biological Engineering and the Director of the Penn State Institutes for Energy and the Environment as our keynote speaker. His address "The Power of Renewable Natural Gas to Combat Climate Change and Help Save the Planet" spoke to the urgency of the climate crisis and outlined one innovative program to mitigate carbon dioxide emissions.
